You have already chosen the menu for your Quinceanera, but have you thought about the drinks? Since a Quinceanera is mainly a party for teens, alcoholic beverages are restricted only to adults.

However, that does not mean you and your friends can’t enjoy refreshing and delicious cocktails or drinks during the party time.

Forget about serving just plain water or soda, those are in the past, nowadays there is a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks that besides looking fabulous they are yummy and fresh.

Maybe your parents decide to serve some alcoholic beverages for adults, so let them deal with that and meanwhile you should focus on drinks to delight your guests.

Ask your caterer service if they can provide this kind of drinks or you can also ask the manager of the hall or place where your party is taking place.

Every day is more common to see alcohol free receptions and parties so it won’t be a problem getting somebody who prepares and serves these drinks.

Here are some options of cocktails and soft drinks for your Quinceanera:

Water: There should always be water, either bottled, flavored (very common at Latin parties) or mineral.

There are some people who don’t like sweet drinks and just prefer drinking water.

Juices and Smoothies: A juice bar that includes all kinds of juices and blended or non-blended fruit drinks like apple cider, lemonade, and orangeade.

Lemonades and orangeades should be made homestyle with syrup and natural juice. Mineral water can be added to taste.

Punch. Made of fruits, juices, mineral water and syrup all mixed together to create a variety of thirst-quenching drinks.

Fruits can vary according to the season including apple, grape, citrus and pomegranate just to name a few.

Soft Drinks / Sodas: These are a must and are favorite of children. This category includes sodas of different flavors either cola, lemon, apple or orange.

Asked the waiters to serve them in crystal glasses with ice for the older ones. For the kids opt for plastic cups.

Floats and Shakes: All drinks that have something to do with ice cream, whether the classic chocolate, strawberry and vanilla milkshakes to the not so classic a coffee, pistachio or walnut shakes.

This category also includes floats, consisting of ice cream scoops preferably served with your favorite soda or juice.

Mocktails: A mocktail is that non-alcoholic version of famous cocktails such as Pina Colada, Bloody Mary, Shirley Temple and Roy Rogers. These are very colorful cocktails served with fruit slices and cherries.

And what about the toast? It is true that some Quinceaneras usually toast with their family and guests at the moment of her presentation, but this doesn’t necessarily mean you have to toast with wine.

There is a variety of sparkling juices in the market, the most common are sparkling grape juice and sparkling apple juice, which has a very similar flavor to cider.

You can also find sparkling cranberry, peach, pear and pomegranate juices, among others.

Your guests can toast with you enjoying a bubbly glass of sparkling juice without alcohol.
